I'm not a solar company, I'm a Mom, Grandma, and a retired nurse. 4 years ago my daughter asked ME for help with her power bill. Due to a severe accident, I was on Social Security disability so funds were tight. As much as I wanted to, I couldn't pay a power bill of $565.00. This bill, HAS to be paid no matter how expensive it is. So I rolled up my sleeves, to see how to lower power bills. I found things like super cooling, batteries, window shades, and LED lights but none of those were going to lower her bill in any significant way.
That's when I found solar. I did not how it worked, how much it cost, and certainly had no understanding of how much money it could save. I soon realized the savings were phenomenal and it was something we both could afford because there was zero cost upfront. I knew I had found the solution, it was lowering her bill and saving from increase rates in the future.
Our process began by calling a few companies that seemed to know about panels and inverters, but they couldn't answer all of my questions to my satisfaction or thoroughly as I needed. This was my daughter's home where my grandchildren would grow up. I had to be sure I was doing the right thing for her in helping her go solar and making sure all the essential questions like
- What if she sold her house, who maintain the panels?
- What about warranties?
- etc...
It was up to me, so I spent my time doing the research about Panels and Inverters. I created a KILOWATT WORKSHEET to simulate her spending and power usage. With this, I was able to see how much she would be saving and make sure she had all the power she needed, plus extra. When I had all the essential questions answered, we came up with a solution.
We call it "PYOP" Produce Your Own Power. So she produces her power and pays less overall. Now, who would've known that not being able to pay my daughter's power bill would have resulted in my mission to help others the same way? I am dedicated to assisting families to save the most amount of money with maximum benefits just like I did for my daughter!
